Online Event for the launch of the study "Disrupting the multilateral order? The impact of anti-gender actors on multilateral structures in Europe". The Webinar will take place on November 21 2022, 3 pm CET.

We were pleased to host the online launch event for our study “Disrupting the multilateral order? The impact of anti-gender actors on multilateral structures in Europe”.

Through concrete policy recommendations, the study outlines a more consistent and strategic approach that Governments committed to advancing human rights for all can take to respond to the efforts of anti-gender actors to develop and produce alternative norms in opposition to universality and equality.

The work was supported by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland.

For the launch of the study, we were delighted to welcome Dennis van Wanrooij, Programme Manager – Gender Identity, Gender Expression and Sex Characteristics at ILGA World, Dorothy Estrada Tanck, UN Working Group on Discrimination against Women and Girls, Jonna Naumanen, Senior Advisor to the EU Ambassador for Gender & Diversity at the European External Action Service, and Lorena Sosa, Assistant Professor at Utrecht University, who will comment and reflect on the findings.
