The Centre for Feminist Foreign Policy (CFFP) Stands in Solidarity with Ugandan LGBTQI+ Community and Condemns “Anti-Homosexuality Bill” 2023
The Centre for Feminist Foreign Policy (CFFP) is deeply concerned about the recent passing of the “Anti-Homosexuality Bill” 2023 by the Parliament of Uganda. This unjust and cruel law violates human rights and further discriminates and threatens the LGBTQI+ community in their everyday lives.
We strongly condemn the passing of this bill and stand in solidarity with all members of the LGBTQI+ community in Uganda. Justice for LGBTQI+ people is justice for everyone!
The Bill is a gross violation of human rights and has led to unspeakable persecution of the LGBTIQ community. It is now time for all of us to stand with the LGBTQI+ community in Uganda.
To further amplify the voices of our partners and allies, CFFP is resharing the press release from Let’s Walk Uganda. Let’s Walk Uganda is a vital organisation that supports the LGBTQI+ community in Uganda. We encourage everyone to show their support for this community by reading the Let’s Walk Uganda press release.
