The new study “Walking the Talk – Advancing Feminist (Foreign) Policymaking in the EU” explores how the EU can uphold its commitments to gender equality in the face of growing anti-gender backlash, shrinking development budgets, and increasing militarisation. It offers a feminist analysis of EU external action, national case studies from Germany, Finland and Spain, and highlights strategies for safeguarding progress. With far-right forces gaining strength across Europe, the study is a timely call to support feminist civil society and ensure that equality, human rights, and inclusion remain at the heart of EU foreign policy.
