Moving from box-ticking to intersectional equity: in cooperation with the GIZ, this project envisions a stronger mainstreaming of intersectional analysis and equity considerations along the entirety of the agricultural supply chain. We work through highlighting the varied and layered nature of potential barriers to equity along the entirety of agricultural supply chains and developing actionable, innovative approaches to ensure universal access to human rights grounded in a decolonial, intersectional, and systemic approach. In the medium term, the project aims to contribute to the conceptualisation and elaboration of an intersectional feminist approach to development policy by setting a practical, workable example.
