Hey there! Every year, June is all about celebrating Pride Month – we commemorate Human Rights Defenders and Queer pioneers throughout history, thanking them for their activism and resilience, and for their achievements which have paved the way for LGBTQI+ communities worldwide to flourish and celebrate together.
This year, we’ve curated a wide collection of LGBTQ+ media for you, and we have so much more we’d like to share! So if you’re looking for LGBTQ+ reading recommendations, the Centre for Feminist Foreign Policy (CFFP) team have put together a fantastic collection of books written by and for LGBTQ+ individuals, ranging from biographies, to non-fiction, to children’s books, to political essays, and everything in between. We’ve also added TV shows, documentaries and movies, so that you can explore some incredible representations and stay informed on the diverse histories and experiences of the LGBTQ+ community worldwide.
We hope you enjoy diving into the world of LGBTQ+ literature, shows, and movies! Happy reading/watching!
