On 21 March 2019, CFFP Germany co-hosted the public event "We are the Campaign to Stop Killer Robots” in Berlin together with the Campaign to Stop Killer Robots. All members were united by one goal: to establish an international treaty to preemptively ban weapon systems that can select and attack targets without meaningful human control – the so-called killer robots.

Gyde Jensen, Chair of the Committee on Human Rights and Humanitarian Affairs, German Bundestag (FDP). Born and raised at the coast of Schleswig-Holstein, Gyde Jensen worked in Geneva and Washington D.C, as well as communications manager for a political foundation. She is the co-founder of the start-up network platform ‘Kiel Starting City’. In October 2017 she was elected as member of the German Bundestag and is the speaker on human rights for the FDP parliamentary group. Since January 2018 she chairs the Committee on Human Rights and Humanitarian Affairs.

Catalina Ruiz-Navarro is a Colombian-Caribbean feminist activist and journalist living in Mexico City. She is the editor-in-chief of the feminist Latin American magazine Volcánica, the co-creator of Amazona TV and has worked as a weekly columnist for El Espectador and El Heraldo in Colombia, writing on feminist topics such as abortion rights in Latin America. Catalina also founded the feminist Youtube channel “(e)stereotipas”.
