DESCRIPTION:Your voice matters! In light of current threats to our (women’s) rights\, it is more important than ever to stand up for a democratic future. Together\, we say no to hate and attacks on our freedom and yes to a strong democracy and women’s rights. \nFor no less important reason\, CFFP is organizing an event on the 30th of May 2024 in Berlin\, dedicated to women’s rights and the fight for democracy. In view of the upcoming European elections on the 9th of June 2024\, we are taking the opportunity to bring inspiring women together and kick off our campaign ‘For Women (against) Rights’. \nWe have received generous support for this great campaign from the Campact Democracy Foundation and Schöpflin Foundation which is making the event and the campaign on this scale possible. \nSpeakers we’re looking forward to engage with\nExperience inspiring speeches from dedicated personalities such as:\n \n\nEnissa Amani – A sharp-witted comedian and activist tirelessly fighting for justice.\nTara-Louise Wittwer – A prominent voice against hate speech and for digital civil courage.\nLuisa Neubauer – A leading activist of the Fridays for Future movement advocating for climate justice.\nDiana zur Löwen – An influencer using her platform to address political and social issues.\nKristina Lunz – Co-founder of the Centre for Feminist Foreign Policy\, advocating for a fairer global policy.\nJudith Rahner – An expert on right-wing extremism and anti-feminism\, providing valuable insights into these threats.\nAnette Dowideit – An Deputy Chief Editor from Correctiv\, exposing social injustices.\nAstrid Deilmann – A campaigner from Campact\, mobilizing citizens for social and political causes.\n\nMusical Performance\nLook forward to a musical highlight with the talented MARYAM.fyi.
