Killer Robots: How can we stop them?

  • Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung 8 Schumannstraße Berlin, Berlin, 10117 Germany (map)

On 23 September, CFFP, Facing Finance and Deutschen Friedensgesellschaft-Internationale der KriegsdienstgegnerInnen (DFG-VK) who are part of the Campaign to Stop Killer Robots organize the event “Killer Robots: How can we stop them?” in cooperation with the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom and the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung.

What challenges do we face if fully autonomous weapon systems are not banned in time? What is Germany’s role in this process? We discuss these questions with the members of Parliament Katja Keul (Alliance 90 / The Greens) and Karl-Heinz Brunner (SPD), with the spokesperson for the Campaign to Stop Killer Robots in Germany Thomas Küchenmeister (Facing Finance e.V.) and Dr. med. Goetz Herrmann (University of Paderborn). The event will be opened with a keynote address by Marieke Eilers from the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom.
