Join the Centre for Feminist Foreign Policy for a workshop at the Rethinking Security National Conference in London!
The last few years has seen an expansion of feminism into mainstream thinking, through social media to music and television, feminism has become more integrated into our daily lives. The Centre for Feminist Foreign Policy looks to ask how much feminism is reflected in modern foreign policy and security thinking, if at all. Join us for an exciting workshop which will explore the basics of feminist theory in conflict and security, asking why feminist policy matters and what the most important criteria is for a feminist foreign policy. We will also be applying feminist thinking to a practical case study, and examine international nuclear disarmament. The workshop will be run by Marissa Conway, Director and Co-founder of CFFP, Emily Webster, CFFP Events Co-ordinator, and Nina Pedersen, CFFP Policy Coordinator.
