  • Pansuriya 100 Bogalay Zay Street Yangon, Yangon Region Myanmar (map)

The event „We need to talk about violence – Feminist Approaches to the Private and Political Spheres“ of the Friedrich-Ebert-Foundation Myanmar discusses different perspectives on gender violence, engaging in a conversation on feminist perspectives towards the problems of sexualized violence, victim-blaming and the normalization of abusive behavior with Nandar, a local expert on gender issues in Myanmar, and CFFP’s co-founder and Germany Director Kristina Lunz.

On this occasion, Kristina will talk about how the concept of feminist foreign policy offers an intersectional approach from a viewpoint of political minorities including women and the most marginalized at the event.

The event is free of charge, but prior registration is mandatory.
